About Us
Fabienne and Adam purchased the Killingworth Castle Inn in July 2007 and have enthusiastically set about building a reputation for great service, good food and drink amongst the locals and visitors from all over the world.
Fabienne grew up in Brittany and has successfully combined the french passion for food and wine with the traditions of an English country pub. As a chef Adam has worked hard to create an extensive A La Carte Menu ranging from light snacks at lunchtime to three course meals in the evening including a selection of vegetarian dishes.
The gorgeous Cotswold stone gives the building character and the location so close to Woodstock and Blenheim Palace makes The Killingworth Castle ideal for guests seeking a break from the stresses of city life. Ask a local to explain the rules of the Aunt Sally game in the garden or perhaps aenjoy a visit from local Morris Dancers. Visit the birthplace of Winston Churchill at Blenheim Palace or Oxford known affectionately as the City of Dreaming Spires.
Shakespeare's Stratford on Avon is also within easy distance as are the many idyllic Cotswold Villages with breathtaking views that unfold before you.
We are determined to make your visit truly memorable and will be delighted answer any questions you may have about the local area.
